Once again the PS4 exclusive from Naughty Dog, Uncharted 4 has been delayed again. It has been rescheduled and now will be releasing worldwide on May 10th, 2016 – which is a 2 week day from the last scheduled date.
The news was announced overnight on the official PlayStation US blog and the announcement was made by Sony’s President Shawn Layden. According to him the delayed is made due to the fact that there will be a mass requirement of the game globally and they don’t want to disappoint their fans. So in order to meet such a huge requirement the game has been delayed so that all the Uncharted 4 fans can play it together on day one.
“As you know, Naughty Dog is wrapping up production on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End with the game on track to go gold and into production later this month. In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time.
Therefore, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has a new worldwide release date of May 10, 2016.
We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest. The good news is that the game is phenomenal — we are fully confident that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure.
We thank you for your continued support for PlayStation.”
Almost two months ago it was announced Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End was delayed to April 26th, 2016. This was the second delay and the fans were quite sure that they will soon get to play Uncharted 4, it was until last night another delayed was announced.
We hope it is the last delay and soon we and the fans of the Uncharted series will get to play Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End because everyone has grown tired waiting for it.
