One of the most anticipated games of the year Homefront: The Revolution is going to make it’s way on Console and PC this year. Last Year 2015, the development team of the game stated that the game is under development and they have taken it very seriously. And due to the fact they are working tirelessly but still there were no words about the release date. But earlier today there has been rumors about the game release date i.e Homefront: The Revolution might release this May.

Homefront: The Revolution is going to release in North America on May 17th, 2016, which has been confirmed through PlayStation Trophies. The release date appeared on a Xbox One $1 reservation card. Still there is not any official announcement made my Deep Silver, so we have no choice except to consider it’s just a rumor.


According to WCCFtech, who had the chance to talk with Homefront: The Revolution Senior Narrative Designer CJ Kershner, revealed that:

Mr. Kershner confirmed that the team was shooting for 1080p, 30 FPS for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. The PC version, on the other hand, won’t feature any lock.

About the Game

The Original Homefront came out in 2011 which was based on the year 2027, Homefront: The Revolution is an open world first-person shooter game which in going to take place in the year 2029. In the upcoming game, everyone will follow protagonist Ethan Brady who will lead a resistance against the Korean who has invaded Philadelphia.

Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force.

A living, breathing, open world responds to your actions – you and your Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight.
