It’s been a while since a new Pokemon game came out since 2013 but today we have got a great news for our Pokemon fans. During the Pokemon direct today, a pair of Nintendo’s 3DS games were revealed and they were two Pokemon games. Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon were officially announced today, the announcement was a real surprise. We know that the official logo of the two games were leaked yesterday but it was considered as a rumor because of no official announcement.
The games will available to Nintendo’s 3DS user this holidays. With the announcement a new trailer was also revealed which focused on Pokemon 20 years anniversary plus how the game has evolved over the year. Though not much was revealed about the game elements and mechanics. You can watch the trailer below.
“The Pokémon core series games are the center of the Pokémon universe and provide some of the most memorable Pokémon moments for our fans,” said J.C. Smith, senior director of Consumer Marketing at The Pokémon Company International. “I can’t wait to see what fans think of the new adventures they’ll find in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.”
Moreover for the first time along with 9 languages, the game will also release in Chinese language both traditional and simplified. Also we know that Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue are going to release tomorrow which will make the celebration of Pokemon 20th Anniversary.
Also one of the great news regarding the Pokemon Sun and Moon, is that there will also be available a virtual console which will allow Pokemon transfer. In other words, Pokemon caught on the older version of the game example Pokemon Red, will be able to transfer it to new game i.e. Pokemon Sun. Here’s how the official Pokemon website explains it and calls it Pokemon Bank.
This online storage application will make it possible for fans to move Pokémon wirelessly from Pokémon Red Version, Pokémon Blue Versionand Pokémon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition, which come to the Virtual Console on Nintendo 3DS on February 27, to Pokémon Sun andPokémon Moon. Pokémon from Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y can also be transferred toPokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon through Pokémon Bank
