An Increase in initial Galaxy S8 Units shipped by Samsung to 17 million units Ahmed Abdullah February 13, 2017 An increase in early stock of the Galaxy S8 seems to be in work, from the earlier mentioned stock of 10 million units to now a staggering 17 million units on release date. This is, the first number of devices to be sold all over the world to various vendors. According to a report, out of the 17 million devices, only 6 million Galaxy S8 Plus phones will be released on the first shipment. An increase in stock will be observed later. The Galaxy S8 offers an increased battery capacity and a larger screen. This production ramp up may be caused by the general troubles faced by the company as of recently with the faulty Galaxy Note 7 to the fire engulfing the Samsung battery manufacturing company. According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be released on 29th march this year and may cost a tidy sum of $850 upon release. HACKED BY SudoX — HACK A NICE DAY.
